Hello church!
Time has been flying by with lots of activities this past season and now the leaves are falling to let us know 2024 is coming to a close!
To recap some activities, we had eight people baptized after church Sept. 8th and then another nine in Lake Sibley later that week! Praise God for all the good things He is doing! Then we had pastor Paul from Uganda preach in our service and he revealed what God is doing in his nation.
We also made time for our men to get away at “Abby Lane Retreat” where they came together to enjoy some great food, enjoy some teachings, and some time to embrace worship and prayer together. It was a wonderful opportunity for the men to get to know each other and to get refreshed.
And now for the ladies. The last Women’s Emmaus Walk for the “Cross Bayou Community” took place October 10th-13th and it was a wonderful experience for all who participated. The ladies testified about their encounters with Jesus and left looking forward to their next steps of faith!
The Cross Bayou Community is transiting to a new format in 2025 called the “Great Banquet!” It will be very similar to the Emmaus experience but even better. If you have worked on any of the three day retreats like Emmaus, Chrysalis, Kairos, Cursillo… then you can participate as part of the team for the “Great Banquet” and if you would like to attend these new retreats then the dates are as follows.
The Men’s Walk is March 13th – 16th at Camp Bethany in Shreveport.
The Women’s Walk is March 20th – 23rd At Camp Bethany in Shreveport.
We would love to have you participate with us and be a part of these new experience with the “Great Banquet” and join a wonderful longstanding community of believers! Contact anyone at the office for more information.
Lastly, thank you all for our pastors appreciation Sunday October 27th. Mel and I were both surprised and blessed by your gifts and words of encouragement! We are thankful to have so many amazing people in this fellowship!
Blessings to all!

River Campus Ministry & Epicenter Youth
Our youth are continually meeting on Wednesdays, having fun and encountering Holy Spirit. Right now we are going through the Old Testament and are becoming more familiar with God’s character.
Back in September we had baptisms at the Pastors house in Sibley lake. There were 6 students who wanted to be baptized and 9 people total ended up being baptized. Several supernatural things happened during the baptisms including depression completely falling off of one of the students when they rose from the water!

Recently the RCM hosted a movie night where we watched Sound of Hope and also had a foster family drive. We were able to put together baskets full of necessities for our foster families in the Natchitoches parish.

We also had Testimony Tuesday where we were able to testify about the goodness of God to each other. We had a special guest, Pastor Paul from Uganda blessed us immensely with his word and testimony. He is over several churches in Uganda and hundreds of orphan children. We were so thankful he was able to come and share with us.

Missions
The Belize mission trip will be taking place December 14th-20th, 2024, alongside Trial Farm Full Gospel Church. Our team will serve in children ministry, Sunday and youth services, mercy ministry (visit underprivileged families with food & hygiene packages), and prayer walks. We still receive donations for the ministry materials. Your donation of $10 will sponsor a child for a 3-day VBS and $25 will sponsor a package for one family. Please click the giving link below and add a note “Belize mission trip”.
Our last missions lunch fundraiser is on Sunday, November 24th, 2024. You are invited and welcome to join us to support our missionaries. Click the picture below for more details.
